We just completed a five day workshop learning to write proposals and grants. We learned a lot and worked with a lot of great people. We are writing a proposal for Project Butterfly, an art workshop for mothers and children at VSHC in June. A Peace Corps volunteer needs to be crafty!!!! We do a lot of teaching, presentations, power points, handmade posters etc. One must also be computer literate as there is a lot of record keeping, reports to Washington to justify our existence. My Mac Air and Cutco knife are my favorite items that I brought from home.
