FIJI HIGHLANDS

The Reproductive Health Team did outreach this week to Bukoya, Nanuko and Nausori Highlands.  It was my first trip to the interior of Fiji.....I am thankful for the opportunity and it was a great trip to end my service at Viseisei.  We did an outreach day, night educational session and spent the night at the Health Center at Bukoya.  The next morning we did an outreach to Nanuko - buses don't even go here!!  The village women served a beautiful organic lunch before leaving.  Travel is mainly by horseback and they grow most of what they eat.  Simplicity is a way of life.
