Happy 2016.....Joe and I are about to leave for the Dominican Republic for four months. We will be working in a medical clinic with Somos Amigos thru Georgetown Prep. The clinic is located in the mountain of Naranjito. We are looking forward to it and seeing Frank Brightwell again.
We then go to Santo Domingo, the capital where we will take a 4 week Spanish Immersion class and live with a family there. (It's on my "bucket list"!!! )
And then to Cabarete, north island, where we will work with a medical clinic, Monkey Jungle, and the Mariposa Foundation. Thank you to Glen and Sherry Herdman.
So the blog is back up!
2015 Update: Michael, Jenny, Jack, Luke, Ryan and Matt are now living in Georgia. Heather and Jonathan are now in New Mexico. Greg is still in Durango and just completed a camping/hiking/rafting trip thru the Grand Canyon. A few pictures......
